Do we really Serve or expect Service??

Mark 10:43-45

43Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 

⁴⁴and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. 

⁴⁵For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

Mark 10:43-45; Says... If we wanna become great among others, first thing we have to do is to be a servant to all. Whoever wanna be the first or a leader for others must be a slave to all. For even our Master (Son of God) came to this world NOT TO BE SERVED but TO SERVE. 


This is how our Master was, but sadly how are we today?? do we really do service to others or expect service from others. 






He always served others & never expected anyone to serve Him. It would be good if we could examine ourself that we really serve or expect service. Amen!

Mega Seials are Mega Traps!!!

Dearly beloved, Greetings!!

What all i write here is what i feel, its my feelings and my ideas and views. If you feel its good you can accept. f you feel iam wrong, then nothing wrong with you.. You all can continue to be what you are!!! May God Bless You!!!

I Still remember once a Pastor was telling that TV stands for Thalai Vedana, Which means Head Ache!!

I some times think how true it is. Coz the more we watch the more we get headache. And also many have become addicted to this these days. One day if they miss some show or serials they lead rest of the day as if they have lost something!! they are restless for the other half of the day. i have seen so many blessed sisters who by chance missed a show or a episode of a serial on that particular day coz of power failure or  coz of some other un avoidable circumstances!! they show that anger on their children and husband and family! How sad is it.. these things prove that they give importace for these TV shows more than their own family. In other words they have become addicted to it!! If they dont watch it for a day they feel restless ad they get headache like an alcohol addict or a smoker.

Let me now highlight some things which many sister and families compensate for watching a TV show or serial.

1. Sisters arrange their daily schedule according to their Favorite serials timings!! For Example Most of them cook good foods and tasty foods in the morning coz they dont have much serials in the mornings and in the evening all foods cooked by them would be simple, not that tasty or at times it might have been over heated or fried and at times smell smoked!! you know why?? coz our dear sisters were busy watching TV show while cooking!!!

2. Many Families plan their evening family prayers according to the timings of the shows and serials. It goes like this... either before the serial starts, they will finish a fast prayer and directly go to serials, or will watch all their serials one after other and then sit together and do a fast food prayer, or even at some extremes they say one word prayer at the interval gaps they get between two serials!!! How sad is that we wanna corner Christ according to our own wish and plans. Is he meant for that. Think for a second if Jesus does the same towards us what will happen to us??? 

3. In Kerala we have a regular power break down for 30 mins. This happens daily for example 8 to 8;30 pm or 9 to 9;30 pm like that. I have personally seen many families scheduling their family prayers perfectly in this power break time!! How pleasant it is to see people giving Lord such wonderful timing!! When we ourself know that this 30 mins of power cut is good for nothing as we cant do anything during that time and why do we wanna give that to Lord?? Why does Lord want your unwanted times?? 

Like this i cant bring in many things!!! 

I have seen many well to do families have brought 3 to 4 TV's for their home. One for Father to watch Sports!! One for Mother to watch her Serials!! and one for Kids to watch Cartons!! and one wold be in the Hall for show purpose!!! Not that they love each other but just coz they need to avoid family clash on this!!! Iam not judging anyone!! and that not my ministry.. iam just trying to bring out what we do knowingly or unknowingly and what is the real purpose of our life in this world!!!

If i have to write i can write pages and pages on this!!

But let me conclude saying few more things!!!

1. Most of the stories they show in these mega serials and shows are not ethical for us to watch. Remember our innocent kids are getting influenced by these. 

2. The director and the production team just for the sake of making money they stretch and stretch a small decent subject or story for 5 to 6 years... obviously to do this they wont have story so they add so much adulterated stuffs like same person marrying 3 to 4 times so that they can take the same story for years and years, a murder so that a long investigation would happen for years , certain characters abscond and would come back after 1 or 2 years so till then the story goes on and on, re births of many characters.. like this what ever way they can they stretch the story in a unethical  manner and we sit and watch it.

3. These characters who act are also not real. They are not simple and innocent as you see in screen. They would have never cried even a single time in their real life. Most of them would be stone hearted. Even if their dear ones die in real life they would ask for a glycerin to cry coz their life has come to such a stage that they can do only things for money!!! We by seeing them crying and weeping all through the serial we even forget our dear ones and start loving these characters who in real life would have divorced many husband and wife and never even knew the meaning of family life!!

4. Recently how may serial actress have been caught for Prostitution?? What does this mean?? This mean that they do act and do even sex just for making money and not to educate society or to make an awareness!!! When they wanna make money for their selfish goals and needs without doing anything for their society. Why do you wanna support them with your time and money? you might ask how come money?? yes these long hours of watching TV and burning up your time and eyes and health will cost your electricity bill as well as ur health. it might sound simple but its not. If not you always remember your little ones are getting influenced by these!!! They say within their hearts my dad nd my mom loves these serials and the characters why not me?? and they also start doing and following many of these acting characters do on screen!!!

One more thing i have to add to this.. Many husband and wife live together cheating each other.. They carry a serial star within their hearts rather than carrying their life partner with whom they live. they forget the reality and lead a dream life!! They live just in physic with their family and mentally they are with these characters, which means that much they are influenced by this!! They expect and dream a life with someone else!! They even carry a photo of these dream heroes in their room!! How sad?? Remember!!! This actor or actress whom you think is better than you wife or husband is not at all good as you think!! They are good only in acting and not in real life. Your husband or your wife is always better to live with in reality!!! Live a real life!! You don't influence your kid doing wrong things!! If so tomorrow you will repent and by that time they would go out of your hands!!!

Awake my dear people!! Its high time to realize the reality!! As King Solomon said these are vanity!!

Please come out of these things!! Realize the fact for what you are alive and do Lord will!!!

If you say you need refreshment and want relaxation.. yes we need that. But there are many better ways for that!!! Find one of that which is acceptable by God and ethical for your family!!

You know what? I dont watch movies now. But i used to watch without my parents knowledge. Coz they don't like!! And i also left watching mega serials and TV shows long back. Wanna know why? Because, even after my Jesus comes, these serials wont end. These are never ending Trap. So after iam raptured how can i watch the climax? This is one single reason iam telling!! there are many.. so i thought of not wasting time watching these when iam alive. I dedicate this to all TV and Mega Serial Lovers! Comments ? Love Man or Love God? Trust Man or Trust God??

Its Better to Trust in the Lord that to Trust in Man!!! 

We all know how true it is, but we don't realize this fact most of the time when we are in human love.

We just get carried away be seeing their action, expression and words.

We just for a moment forget this universal fact and Gods Trust & love and move on with Human trust & Love.

But the truth is any such trust or love we keep on humans dont sustain or last longer.

Coz at one point of time certain uncontrollable, selfish, human motives or desires appear and spoils the entire relationship. There would be either a clash, fight or a split. 

The only reason is that Mans love is not stable.. Its all money or some Selfishness centered in some way!!! 

If you have they are around you!! If you Don't have they don't mind you!!! But God and Gods love is not so, Word of God very strongly assures that, our God is same yesterday, today and for ever. He is eternal and his love is Eternal as well. He cant be like a human. its impossible for God to have Human Characters. Yes he came all the way to this world and lives like you and me. He was in flesh but still he cant have Human Characters. Coz for one reason he is God, He is almighty. 

So as He is eternal and the same for ever, same is his love... we have to realize this fact and walk with him. Once we do so then we would never turn back to human. once we start living with Him, fall in love with Him and get into a relationship with Him, once we taste that He is Good. from there on we would never try Human. its coz that we really dont taste who and what He is. These days rather than getting our love and trust with a human. why cant we really try that with Lord? Try once and see how that relationship with Him goes. It would be awesome and sweet like the honey and the sweetest of all honey. Coz His words and He are Good and sweetest of all honeys.

Why wanna get hurt again and again by trusting and loving Man?? For a difference and change in your life style Look unto Lord!!! He is always mindful of you!!! Love him with everything you have!!! He cares for you!!! Try this once and see the Difference!!!! This very same lesson i Learnt today!!! Yes dear people once again i learnt the Same lesson!!!  Felt i have to share with you all.. Blessed?? Lets Decide!!! Amen??

What God Expects you and me to be ? A 24/7 Prayer Warrior.

"WATCH MEN"

" I have posted watchmen on your walls; They will pray to the Lord day and night for the fulfillment of His promises. Take no rest all you who pray. Give the Lord no rest until he makes Jerusalem the object of praise throughout the earth." Isaiah 62:6,7.

God watches over us 24 hours a day (Ps.121) and in His Word He calls us up to watch and pray with Him.

The Bible teaches us to pray that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven and in heaven there is only praise, worship and intercession, 24 hours a day.

This is why we believe that praise worship and intercession should also take place on earth for 24 hours a day.

Prayer is a powerful thing that we believe can unite organisations and churches across the world regardless of their tradition and denomination.

Old Testament : In Exodus and Leviticus we read that the priests had to keep the lamps in the temple burning. The Lord was very strict about the command that the fire on the altar was never to be allowed to go out. The priests worked in shifts so that the temple was filled with prayer, worship and song for 24 hours a day. In the time of Jesus one of the four branches of Judaism, the Essenes, believed in praying for 24 hours. The community was divided into three so that they could take turns every third day to stay awake and pray right through the night.

Early Christian Church : The early church was born out of 24-7 prayer. It is generally accepted that the disciples prayed in union for ten days before the Spirit descended on them at the Pentecost.

New Testament : Revelations 4-5 states that the angels and the 24 elders worship God literally night-and-day.

Bible says that we all are temple of the holy God. means our human body fully is the temple of the holy God, hence it is to be kept holy, because God is Holy and the place where he dwells should also be holy. so let me come to the main theme... If God in the old testament wants Prayer and Praise in his temple 24/7 that is in form of sacrifices or praise. when it came to the New Testament age.. not only he is present in our Gatherings, Assembly and Churches.. but also within us.. if that is the case then for sure he does expect a 24/7 praise from us irrespective of the place where we are..So not only weekly once when we gather in church.. but everyday... only then we would be able to lead a good christian life..

As said in Rev 4-5 the angels and elders are worshiping Him 24/7. if that is the case... Then all who by any chances reach there on that day would also do the same. Let me also add one more thing to this....the most interesting thing is that.. Bible says... On that Day... Every knee will bow and with their mouth they will confess that " He is Lord " and this confession would not only come from their mouth, rather would come from their heart, because they would be seeing everything in reality and they don't have any second choice..

Promise Verse For Year 2010 - Another Ordinary Life? Or something Extra Ordinary for our LORD?

Isa 60:1-3; Arise & Shine for UR light has come! Lord's Glory is there already, If U wanna Shine? U have to Arise. If we do that... Shining is God's Part. He would do that for us. When we shine for Lord, He would Shine for us. To all those who were leading an normal life, without doing good nor bad. This is the time to think about. Still wanna live an ordinary life? What are we going to do for Lord this year? Leading another Ordinary Life? Or something Extra Ordinary we are going to do for Him than Last Years? Let's Decide. Let us be the Light of the world! Lets spread Light to the world!! Lets bring everyone who lives in darkness into the living light!!! Amen?

New Year Message 2010 - "Your Answer is Right Next to You! Dont Search Somewhere Else!!

New Year Message: "Your Answer is Right Next to You! Dont Search Somewhere Else!!

We might be praying for certain things for a very long time. May be through out 2009 we might be waiting for some answers from our Lord, and solutions for our problems without knowing something the fact that the answer is where we are and very near to us and we need not search somewhere else. Remember one thing that Our God will open a way in what ever situations you are & what ever you are surrounded with. He has always done this in the past and would be done this even to this day. But what are we suppose to do? 

Stand where you are and Praise & Worship Him!

Stand where you are and whatever situations you are bonded in and Praise and Worship Him!! He will Make a way for you. Not only make a way for you but also make you Walk through the Situations you are!! Amen? The mistake we  do normally is we keep Searching for the answer and solutions somewhere else. The Answer is there right where you are! Here i would like to quote some experiences from the word of God where God has opened a way right where there was a problem!! 

1. Red Sea - When Israelites were in a situation that they could no longer move forward, coz  Pharaoh and his Army was behind them, Did not God open a way for them dividing Red Sea which was Just in front of them? The Way was just in front of them and he never used any new ways. Dint they Cross the other side??

2. Hagar - We she cried, when she looked on to the Lord dint he open her eyes and she could see the spring very close to her, just where she was?? so that she could give the water to her son?? was not the spring there at the same place so far?? yes it was buts he could not see that. when she cried on to Lord and when he opened the eyes she could see. if so when we look on to him at the time of trouble he would open our inner eyes and so we will get sight to see the Way he has kept for us.

3. River of Jordan - Dint our lord open a way right there?? 

4. Jericho Walls - Dint the walls fall when they shout and praised God?? So that they could march forward and take control of the city??

5. Paul in Prison - In spite of bondage when he praise god dint his chain break?? and he could free himself and also a miracle happed there?? Is something Hard for my Lord?? No!!! Never!! The same Lord is still alive and he can do greater than these in our Life!!!

And at all situations God Opened a Way Right There.  If so he is able to open a way for you right where you are and what ever situations you are!!  Lets always have a thankful heart for what all he did to us in the past and when we thank and praise Him!! Wow here opens the way!! Yes it will and He will do that for you!! Amen?

So How To Deal Such Situations?

1. Be Silent!

2. Sit and Relax in His Presence!!

3. Analyze what and how He did During such situation in the Past!!!

4. Have a Thankful Heart toward that!!!!

5. Read and Meditate the Word of God!!!!!

6. Praise God for his Mercy, Grace and for the situations you are in!!!!!!

7. Call on to Him!!!!!!!

8. Worship Him!!!!!!!!

Once you do these few things.. God would do his part immediately!! He wont be silent still!! He would answer to your Faithfulness, Thankful Heart and Patience. And the answer would be there automatically!!! Amen?

So the best way to deal such hard and problematic times are to sit in His presence and Read the word of God!! Yes He will talk to us as what to do and how to move further!! Because the real answer for all your questions and solutions for all your problems are in the word of God. Again the problem is we just read and leave it. We don't Meditate on it. Or give Lord some time to talk to us through it. God can Talk and deal with us only when we meditate and give him some time to talk to us. When we go into deeper depths of the word of God. We would be able to know his will and way and from then on we would be able to lead our 

life according to his plan. Once we started doing so, once we started leading our life completely according to His will and Plan from then on everything would be under his guidance and care. Amen?

Hi My Name is Sam Varghese Kuruvilla, From Chennai, By God's Grace we could release many Christian devotional albums till date!
